A link on that page will return you here Possession: the artist	First hard edged work painted while occupying the Sydney University studio in the Cite des Arts, Paris. First occupant in 1976. Prior to travelling to Paris in 1967 I had already created a large silkscreen of this image 120 x 90 cm from 4 sheets pasted onto masonite.

Caught red handed by Ron Robertson Swann who was returning to Australia on the same ship. He told me he'd never seen anyone painting weating a beret before!

	Title: Emmanuel medium: synthetic latex paint on board 1968 693 x 269 x 269 cm	made for St. Margaret's church, Downer ACT , December 1968 The wooden work decayed and was destroyed many years ago. The original idea now exists as a small maquette complete with a figure to provide the original sense of scale.	Constructed from masonite attached to a 4 x 2 wooden structure; the base wooden supports driven deep into the soil for stability over its 2 month life. Surface painted with rubber based paving paint. I intended freighting it to and including it in the 1970 Mildura Sculpture Triennial (director Tom McCullough was keen) but storage was an issue and it had rotted beyond repair during the intervening 2 years.
